You will experience the historic Central Canal, whose hydraulic boat-lifts are the only ones still in use in the world, and recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Fall under the spell of the bygone charm of these technological works of art, which allow canal boats to go up or down a 17m change of level, all powered by water alone. Visit one of the machine rooms, where your guide will help you appreciate how these timeless machines work. Either the day before or after your visit, enjoy the charm and the flower-beds of the Enghien Park.
